JC Taylor has been America’s premier specialty insurance provider for classic cars, antique autos, modified and custom vehicles since the 1960s. We are looking for a Commercial Lines Sales Executive to help grow our commercial business. This sales executive will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities for commercial enterprises that support collector car hobbyists, negotiating pricing/coverages, and servicing existing commercial clients. This role requires an active Property and Casualty producers license and at least 3 years’ experience in commercial insurance. This role can be done fully remote and will include occasional travel. 


JC Taylor Insurance, American Collectors Insurance, Condon Skelly, and Heacock Classic are all part of NSM Insurance Group’s collectibles and collector car insurance program.


  • Solicit new Car Club accounts for commercial lines opportunities
  • Generate new business policies for car club commercial insurance
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and educational seminars for existing and potential clients
  • Create cross-sell opportunities for Personal Lines collector insurance policies through commercial customers
  • Review existing commercial customer accounts for proper coverage and limits
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • 4 Year College degree, preferred
  • Sales prospecting experience to identify/nurture/develop new customer opportunities
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients as needed
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Property & Casualty license with minimum of 3 years commercial lines experience
  • Pursuit of a professional designation - CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU, preferred
  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems
  • One year or more of experience with Applied Systems’ Epic or Vertafore AMS360 AMS preferred

  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters

while performing the functions of this job. Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

with standard level of noise common to an office environment including office equipment and co-workers speaking to each other and on phones. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment when entering the floor of manufacturing facilities based on the specific requirements of each location.
