We are looking for P&C licensed insurance professionals to join our underwriting team and help us continue our tradition of providing top notch service to our customers.

 

This is a dynamic, fast-paced, full time, work from home opportunity.

 

Individuals in this position will be the first point of contact for all customers and brokers utilizing our contact center. They will provide the best customer service possible and maintain our underwriting integrity for both new and existing business.

 

American Collectors Insurance, Condon Skelly, Heacock Classic, and JC Taylor Insurance are all part of NSM Insurance Group’s collectibles and collector car insurance program.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate high level of responsiveness and focus on providing our customers and brokers with a superior level of service
    • Perform changes to in-force policies
    • Identify coverage comparison, program highlights and values, and effectively communicate to close the sale
    • Complete necessary documentation quickly and efficiently
    • Follow and adhere to underwriting compliance and service standards
  • Conduct risk analysis and evaluate underwriting quality of applicants
    • Evaluate application factors/details to appropriately match premium to underwriting risk
  • Expected to be on phones 100% of the time for mostly in-bound calls and as-needed follow-ups, there is no cold-calling in this role
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers and brokers
    • Build trust and credibility quickly and translate them into enduring relationships
    • Build and maintain a long-term quality pipeline with Key Agents and Brokers (B2B) on existing policies and increase referral volume
  • Meet all production goals
  • Escalate complex risks to Senior Underwriters to review/evaluate
  • Attend team meetings and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous insurance experience
  • Active P&C or Personal Lines producer license 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates teamwork capabilities
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Positive customer and quality focus
