Overview

This remote Customer Service Representative at American Collectors Insurance will be the first point of contact for all customers utilizing our call center for routine policy updates. This role is 100% virtual. 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Delight our customers with superior customer service.
  • Service existing customers with payments, policy changes, etc. which do not require additional underwriting support.
  • Cancel and Non-renew policies according to procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job. Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions with standard level of noise common to an office environment including office equipment and co-workers speaking to each other and on phones. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment when entering the floor of manufacturing facilities based on the specific requirements of each location.
