NSM and Dinghy’s vision is to transform the delivery of Professional Liability and General Liability insurance to small businesses and project-based independent contractors/freelancers, building upon its existing offering that is targeting freelance writers.
We are seeking a dynamic Product and Business Development Leader to take this exciting vision from concept to reality and beyond.
The role encompasses three main aspects:
Dinghy was founded in the UK in 2017 specially to transform the world of insurance for freelancers and independent contractors by enabling customers to turn their insurance up and down or on and off, depending on their actual usage. Acquired by the Kingsbridge Group in 2018, which was itself acquired by NSM Insurance Inc. in 2020, Dinghy has won numerous awards since its launch, including being named as one of the ten most disruptive insurance companies in the world. In late 2020, Dinghy launched in the USA in partnership with the Freelancers Union, to offer insurance to freelance writers and is now working on bringing its innovative model to the broader US market.
