Responsibilities

  • Reviews new submissions for completeness, accuracy and make requests for missing information
  • Rate for quote within internal rating system
  • Issue and bill all bound policies
  • Process and bill all endorsements
  • Ensure all documentation of Underwriting files received
  • Follow up for required information
  • Interact with our agent clients to provide superior customer service via phone and email
  • Fully assist and support Underwriters in all aspects of their primary responsibilities and production goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Previous Commercial P&C Insurance Experience; Rating experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO commercial policy forms:  General Liability, Property and Auto
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide superior service and maintain strong relationships with agents and represent the NSM brand
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to self-direct, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates teamwork capabilities
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Working knowledge of computer systems (rating system, Pipeline, ConceptOne, ImageRight, etc.)
