  • Overview


    • Weekly and monthly reporting to various departments as well as senior management
    • Collaboration with various departments to coordinate notices of cancellation
    • Processing monthly and ad hoc ACH payments
    • Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances
    • Provide excellent and considerate customer service
    • Work across multiple general ledger systems



    • Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced environment
    • Providing customer service regarding collection issues
    • Run, review and reconcile all accounts receivable in the accounting system, insuring all relevant information is captured and correct
    • Accountable for reducing delinquent accounts
    • Maintain positive customer relationships
    • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the accounting department
    • Work collaboratively with underwriting and management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
    • Must communicate and follow up effectively with a variety of departments within the organization regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
    • Strong organization and documentation skills necessary
    • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships internally
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
    • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed




    • Bachelor’s Degree Required
    • 3-5 years collections experience
    • MS Office (including strong Excel skills) and knowledge of accounting software
    • High organizational skills to handle multiple systems
    • Strong computer literacy
    • Very organized
    • Works well in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
    • Team-oriented
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
